Funeral services for Lillian Josey Holley, 88, of Bainbridge, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Morrison and Tommy Joines officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

She was well known for her single rose and requested that any flowers for her funeral service be a single rose. Born March 10, 1920, in Brinson, Ga., she died Thursday, Jan. 15, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
Mrs. Holley was a retired seamstress with Williamson-Dickie and taught Sunday school for many years at Calvary Baptist Church. She was an avid community volunteer and received special recognition for her work with the Bainbridge Lions Club. She loved life and enjoyed playing pranks. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. “Bud” Holly, and a daughter, Barbara H. Faughnan.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy H. Marchant of McRae, Ga., five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
