Funeral services for John Charles Howell, 63, of Havana, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge.

Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery with Terry Smith, Gary Wynn, Allen Lee, David Butler, Troy Stencil and Johnny Cannon serving as active pallbearers.

Born on May 25, 1945, in Bainbridge. he died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Howell graduated from Attapulgus High School in 1963. He was a farmer, owner and operator of construction company, Howell Enterprises, and a member of Killearn United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Duke Howell of Bainbridge; his son, Chuck Howell of Tallahassee, Fla.; and his sister, Sue Lee of Thomasville, Ga.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
