Graveside services for Willie Clarence “Bear” Handsford Jr., 38, of Bainbridge, was on Dec. 11, 2008, at Jonas Lobe Cemetery with the Rev. Henry L. Flowers officiating.

Born in Decatur County on March 11, 1970, Mr. Handsford was found dead on Dec. 11, 2008. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1988, and he attended Savannah State College and Bainbridge College. He was a member of the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Handsford.

He is survived by his father, Willie Clarence Handsford Sr. of Havana, Fla.; a brother, Lewis (LaCora) Handsford of Bainbridge; his grandmother, Jewel Pulley of Bainbridge, and host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
