Funeral services for Jimmy Johnson, 53, of Donalsonville, Ga., was Friday, Jan. 2, at the Newberry AME Church in Jakin Ga., with the Rev. Marvin Alexander Jr. officiating.

Interment followed at the church’s cemetery with friends of the family serving as pallbearers.
Born in Seminole County, Mr. Johnson died at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Johnson

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn D. Johnson, and six sisters.
