Charles Walley

Funeral services for Charles F. Walley, 80, of Bainbridge, will be Saturday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.
Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home.
Mr. Walley was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Fulton, Miss. He died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Bainbridge Health Care.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ava Clark Walley of Bainbridge; a daughter, Patty Anne Johnson of Joliet, Ill.; two sons, Charles Lee Walley of Moultrie, Ga., and Larry Williams of Albany, Ga.; a brother, Junior Lee Walley of Wisconsin; a sister, Ovalene Hunkepillar of Willacoochee, Ga., and two grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
