Eva Mae McGriff

Funeral services for Eva Mae Williams McGriff, 84, was Saturday, Dec. 27, at Mount Moriah No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edmond Howard Jr. officiating.
Interment followed at Conyers Cemetery in Climax with Nathaniel Lee, Robert Lewis McGriff, James Lawrence, Charles McGriff, Taveres Brown, Eddie McGriff and Earnest Bryant Jr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Mount Moriah No. 2 deacons and laymen brothers.
Born in St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. McGriff died at Bainbridge Health Care in Bainbridge. She was a retired laborer. Mrs. McGriff was a member of the Mount Moriah No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George McGriff.
Survivors include four sons, George McGriff Jr., Robert Lewis McGriff, Eddie Lee McGriff and Charles Edward McGriff; two daughters, Hazel Johnson and Gloria Jean McGriff; one sister, Annie Mae Lawrence of Tampa, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chandler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
