On Dec. 22 Faceville Volunteer Fire Fighters responded to a vehicle fire on Booster Club Road. The driver, 17-year-old Matt Johnson, said the 1998 Chevrolet Z71 truck caught fire while he was driving and he and his companions were able to get out before being harmed. Firefighters extinguished the flames, but the vehicle was destroyed.
