Funeral services for Lori Ann Maxwell, 37, of Camilla, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Union Springs Baptist Church in Grady County with the Revs. Carl Harrell and Tim Harrell officiating.

Internment will follow at Maxwell Hill Cemetery in Decatur County, Ga.

Born on Dec. 31, 1970, in Thomas County, Ga., Mrs. Maxwell died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Mitchell County Hospital.

Maxwell was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. She attended Pelham High School, graduated with a R.N. degree from Darton College and was employed by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Annie F. Daughtry Shirah.

Survivors include her husband, Jack M. Maxwell of Camilla; a sister, Lisha Shirah of Pelham; a half-brother, Craig Smithwick of Camilla; and a host of family and friends.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla is in charge of arrangements.
