Funeral services for James S. “Skipper” Harris, 64, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be Saturday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery in Baker County, Ga. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 27, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Miller County to William Franklin and Henrietta Wright Harris, Mr. Harris graduated from Bainbridge High School. He was an attendant at Henry’s Service Station.

Mr. Harris is survived by three sisters, Louise Brooks of Little Switzerland, N.C., Mittie Hancock of Pittsburg, Tenn., and Jimmie Lou Moore, and her husband, Gene, of Sewanee, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
