Funeral services for Richard Gregory Johnson, 47, of Donalsonville, Ga., will be held today, Dec. 20, at 3 p.m. at Newberry A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Diann Kelly officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Willie Jones, Thomas Register, James Scott, James Register, Jeff Jones and Willie McLeondon serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Johnson was born in Donalsonville on Dec. 7, 1961, to Mr. Richard Johnson Sr. and the late Gussie Mae Johnson. He died Saturday, Dec. 13, at Seminole County Hospital. He worked at Shaw Industries for 15 years.

Johnson is survived by a son, Gregory Stephon Johnson; a stepson, Bryan Anthony Barber; four brothers, Charlie Johnson of Brinson, Ga., Micheal Johnson of Jakin, Ga., Benjie Johnson of Donalsonville, and Douglas Johnson of Atlanta; two sisters, Kathryn Seide of Iron City, Ga., and Sharon Johnson of Atlanta.
