Spc. Wilson returns home

Spc. Brian Wilson with the U.S. Army Reserves was able to return home to his family in Bainbridge this year after serving abroad for more than a year. Spc. Wilson, a 2003 Bainbridge High School graduate, joined the Army Reserve after graduating from high school. Following his completion of basic training in 2004 he began specialized training in electronics. In 2005, Spc. Wilson was called to serve in Iraq. In 2006 he went to Fort Lee, Va., where he continued his training in the electronics field. Spc. Wilson was deployed to Korea in 2007, and recently returned home to family and friends on Nov. 20, just in time for Thanksgiving. On Dec. 20, Wilson will be stationed in Savannah to continue his training. Spc. Wilson is the 25-year-old son of Jeanette Keaton and Jimmy Wilson of Bainbridge.
