Senior wide receiver Melzie Johnson and head coach Ed Pilcher will represent the Bainbridge High School Bearcats in Georgia’s North, South All-Star football game Monday, Dec. 29, at Memorial Stadium in Columbus. Johnson, who had 37 receptions for 678 yards and five touchdowns and was named first team All-Region 1AAAA by the Region coaches and All-Southwest Georgia Area by The Albany Herald, will play for the South Georgia team, and Pilcher will run the South Georgia offense for head coach Bob Herndon of Benedictine High School in Savannah.
