Virginia Houston

Memorial services for Virginia Ann “Ginger” Boyd Houston, 63, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be today, Dec. 13, 2008, at 3 p.m. at the Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with family members officiating.
Born in Decatur County, Ms. Houston lived in Bainbridge for the past 10 years after living for many years in Florida. She was of the Baptist faith and was a seamstress. Ms. Houston also worked as a store manager, housekeeper, daycare worker and loved to listening to preaching and gospel music.
Ms. Houston is survived by a daughter, Brenda Jane Hull of Fort White, Fla.; three sons, Sidney Ray Jenkins and Steve Clyde Jenkins, both of Bainbridge, and Shannon Jenkins of Fort White; four sisters, Emma Jean Miller and Margie Vaughn, both of Wetumpka, Ala., Sara Domino of Warner Robins, Ga., and Mary Ruth Gibbs of Cairo, Ga.; a brother, David Boyd of Missouri; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
