Funeral services for Herbert Daniel “Danny” Brock, 55, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and formerly of Pelham, Ga., will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Franklin Russ and Ed Harrell will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Brock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Ivey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 2010 SW H.K. Dodgen, Loop # 201, Temple, TX 76504.

Mr. Brock was born Feb. 4, 1955, in Lakeland, Fla. He died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, in Copperas Cove. After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked in the concrete construction industry. He lived near Pelham, Ga., before moving to Copperas Cove, Texas.

Survivors include his parents, Sue and Charles Gilson of Copperas Cove, Texas; his sister, Debbie Holstine of Hernando, Miss.; his brother, Roger Willis of Olive Branch, Miss., and other family.
