Donald Sapp

Donald Winston Sapp, 68, of Climax, Ga., died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at his residence.

Services will be private.

Born in Havana, Fla., on March 12, 1940, Mr. Sapp was a truck driver and a member of Beulah Thomas Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Anderson Sapp, and his daughter, Lyci Marie Sapp.

Survivors include four sons, David Sapp of Climax, Nelson Sapp and Joseph Sapp, both of Branford, Fla., and Jonathan Sapp of Baltimore, Md.; a daughter, Penny S. Long of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Carl Sapp of Climax and Dale Sapp of Chester, Va.; two sisters, Phyllis Collins of Bainbridge, Ga., and Denice Barrett of Sparks, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
