Funeral services for Paul Earp Morris, 80, of Bainbridge, Ga., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Rick Burhans and Stephen L. Webb officiating.

Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery with Rick Ragan, Rusty Davis, Chuck Rich, Chipper Smith, Harry Smith and Reese Rollins serving as active pallbearers.

Born on April 13, 1928, in Fort Pierce, Fla., Mr. Morris died on Dec. 1, 2008, at Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School in 1947, and was a retired conductor/switchman for Seaboard Airline/CSX Railroad. He was the owner and operator of Morris Appliance and the co-owner and operator of Suds & Scrub Laundromat & Car Wash. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Brooks Morris.

Survivors include his son, Bubbie Morris and his wife, Terri, of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Carolyn M. Burhans and her husband, Rick, of Ormond Beach, Fla., Joni Morris-Anderson and her husband, Donny, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Merreann M. McDonald and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, Ga.; six grandchildren, Cristal M. Devenburg, Lilian Morris, Jonathan Morris, Christin Terrell, Taylor McDonald and Grant McDonald; and two great-grandchildren, Richard Terrell and Elizabeth Terrell.
