Funeral services for Eddie Lee Tripp Sr., 54, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Nov. 29, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Bainbridge with the Rev. John Neal officiating.

Internment followed at Conyers Cemetery with family friends serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Tripp was born in Dawson County, Ga., and died Nov. 24, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Cora E. Tripp.

He is survived by his wife, Linda D. Tripp; two daughters, Betina Jones and Beverly Kinder; one son, Eddie Lee Tripp Jr.; five sisters, Rosie Rainey, Minnie Allen, Coretta Griffin, Shaundra Tripp, all from Bainbridge, and Tasha Tripp of Clearwater, Fla.; six brothers, Johnny P. Tripp, Tommy and Johnny Tripp, both of Clearwater, Fla., Arthur Tripp of Omaha, Neb., Willie Tripp of Miami, Fla., and Willie Tripp of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren, 74 nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
