Tatiana Monique Whigham, a senior at Grace Christian Academy is this year’s Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen award winner for that school. Whigham, who plans to attend Auburn University on a full Army Reserve scholarship and major in biomedical engineering, was chosen for her academic standing and extra-curricular activities, for good citizenship qualities and for an essay she wrote on the topic of “Our American Heritage and Our Responsibility for Preserving It.” From the left, are Joan Shiver, principal of Grace Christian Academy; Whigham, daughter of Allen and Diane Whigham of Brinson; and Carolyn Pierce, a member of the Bainbridge chapter of the DAR.
