Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Toole, 80, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Sunday, Nov. 9, at Spring Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Dean and Gerald Hollis officiating.

Interment followed in Colquitt City Cemetery with Hugh Brock, Michael Cundiff, Thomas Earl Davis, Louie Barr, Bill Brewer and Joe Brown serving as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Toole was born in Miller County, Ga., and died Wednesday Nov. 5, 2008, at her residence.

She retired from Fudge Gift Shop in Colquitt and worked for K Ford, also in Colquitt. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Toole.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy L. Toole Sr. of Donalsonville; two brothers, Donald R. Kirksey of Bainbridge and Gerald Kirksey of Albany, Ga.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
