The Great Will Rogers had this to say about politics, “There’s no trick to being a humorist when you have the whole govmint working for you, never has so many done so little with so much. We are the only nation in the world that has to keep a government for four years, no matter what it does. I don’t make jokes, I just watch the government and report the facts.”

He also sed, “Ancient Rome declined because it had a Senate; now what’s going to happen to us now that we have a Senate and a Congress? Just be thankful we are not getting all the government we’re paying for!”

Pam Martin-Wells placed fifth in the Ladies Classic on Lake Hamilton, Ark. She is one great fisherperson!

Awesome catches of catfish still coming in from channel of the river and there seems to be no end to the speckle perch as our water cools down. We are down in the 60s now and will get lower.
