Funeral services for Ida Laura Ward Braswell, 90, of Kingston, Tenn., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Friday, Oct. 31, graveside at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Mrs. Braswell was born in Seminole County, Ga., and died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at her residence in Kingston.

She was a homemaker and also worked in the day care industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Howard Braswell.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Herndon of Prosperity, S.C., and Wanda Pauli of Kingston; three sons, Winston “Wink” Braswell of Leesburg, Fla., Douglas Braswell of Deltona, Fla., and Bill Braswell of Sanford, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and other relatives.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
