Odesser Kelly

Funeral services for Odesser Clinton Kelly, 87, of Bainbridge, were held Monday, Oct. 27, at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Revs. Stanley Phillips and Mike Allen officiating.
Interment followed in Oak City Cemetery with Mark Phillips, William Howell Jr., Justin Kelly, Brad Brock, Phillip Kelly and Rick Kelly serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Anderson, Jeff Kelly, Morris Glisson and Bobby Glisson.
Mrs. Kelly was born in Decatur County, Ga., and died Oct. 24, 2008, at her residence.
She resided in Decatur County all of her life, was a homemaker and member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emitt Kelly Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Jimmie Anderson of Pelham, Ga., Judy Vaughn of Riverton, Wyo., Lucia Walls of Cumming, Ga., Catherine Phillips and Kaye Howell, both of Bainbridge, and Tammy Brock of Climax, Ga.; sons, Emitt Kelly Jr. and Gary Kelly, both of Climax, Calvin Kelly, Oscar Kelly, Ronnie Kelly and Donnie Kelly, all of Bainbridge, and Danny Kelly of Whigham, Ga.; sisters, Ruth Lambert of Bainbridge, Ann Clenney and Pat Carroll, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Charlie Earl Clinton of Bainbridge; 32 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Flowers will be accepted but donations can be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 1323 E. Shotwell St. Bainbridge, GA 39819.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
