The GED Testing Center serving Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole counties was recognized recently at the Fall Adult Education Institute held in Atlanta, when it received an award as one of the top three small-sized centers in the state with the largest number of GED candidates tested in 2007. Two of the three examiners rewarded for length of service were local chief examiner, Mary Gant with 19 years, and Gwendolyn Conyers who has devoted 15 years to the GED testing program.
