Clarence Dukes

Funeral services for Clarence Dukes, 58, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Tuesday, Oct. 21, in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating.

Interment followed in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County with Ray Givens, Jeff Smith, Bruce Temples, Kelly Ford, Scott Key, and DeWayne Dukes serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Dukes was born in Seminole County, Ga., and passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Ga.

He worked in the paint and body business.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne C. Dukes of Donalsonville; two sons, Scott Dukes of Cincinnati, Ohio and Derek Dukes of Donalsonville; two daughters, Michelle Pollock of Kentucky and Mary Dukes of Donalsonville; two brothers, William Dukes of Alexander City, Ala., and Steve Dukes of Donalsonville; two sisters, Gloria Newton of Donalsonville and Lisa Kay Dukes of Ooltewah, Tenn., and 10 grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
