Memorial services for E.C. “Butch” King Jr., 60, of Bainbridge, will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 15, immediately following the services.

Mr. King was born in Decatur County, Ga., and died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at his residence.

He was a painter and of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary King Myers of Bainbridge; two sons, E.C. “Toby” King III of Donalsonville, Ga., and James Kennedy of Cairo, Ga.; four sisters, Jackie Donalson of Bainbridge, Judy Baggett of Cairo, Ga., Sandra Hughes of Roanoke, Ala., and Pat King of Thomasville, Ga., and seven grandchildren.
