Karen Moran, Administrative Assistant, and Commercial Credit Analyst, Carla
Chastain, recognize how important school supplies are to a child’s success in school.

Shopping for school supplies is fun for many children, but not every family is fortunate enough to be able to purchase everything on the must-have list. So, staff at Southwest Georgia Farm Credit has pitched in, and they’re encouraging you to do the same, making drop off easy in the lobby of their office at 305 Colquitt Highway.

“The start of a school year can be so exciting, and overwhelming all at the same time,” said Jordan Gilbert, Marketing Coordinator, who is leading this year’s school supply campaign. “We hope that our donations, combined with other items our community can donate, will play a positive role in a child’s first days back to class.”

Starting today through July 31, drop your donations at the lobby of Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. We’ll get it in the hands of kids in need. “We hope this helps children in our area feel prepared, confident, and ready to learn,” Gilbert said. “It’s just a small way we can help.”
