Middle School track team concludes season

Coach Patrick Clark’s Bainbridge Middle School Bearcat track team completed their season on a high note Tuesday with some impressive road performances in the Thomas County Central Middle School Meet.

Leading the way for the young Bearcats were there two 4×100 meter relay teams who finished first and second.

The first place 4×100 team was made up of Caleb McDowell, Caleb Lewis, Courtney Thomas and Tevin McCray and the second place 4×100 team consisted of Kasey Jones, Raquan Freeman, Derrick Smart and JaMorris Cosby.

McCray won the 100 and the 200 runs and McDowell finished second both races.

The Bearcats’ top two 4×400 teams finished first and second. Members of the first place team were McDowell, Lewis, Thomas and McCray and members of the second place team were Jones, Freeman, Smart and Cosby.

Coach Clark expressed his appreciation to Titus Porter, Mark Taylor, Eric Sanders, Monteric Robertson and Lawson Chandler for their contributions for the success of the team this season.
