Mike and Deborah Harrell of Bainbridge announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Harrell, to Shannon Christopher French, son of Jackie French of Jacksonville, Fla. and the late Ray French.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Louise Davis of Bainbridge, the late A.W. “Bill” Davis, the late Annette Powell Harrell and the late Bobby Harrell.

Miss Harrell is a 2000 honor graduate of Bainbridge High School. She received her Master’s of Business Administration in 2007 from Troy University.

She is employed as a Special Populations Coordinator and Business instructor at Bainbridge State College.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Janie Spooner of Attapulgus, the late Ray Spooner, and the late Francis Freeman French and Edna Irene French.

Mr. French is a 1995 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is employed at Cooper’s Heating and Air.

The wedding is planned for April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Circle Oak Farm in Bainbridge. The reception will follow.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
