Owens finished the match with a three-goal hat trick. Her third goal came with just over two minutes left until halftime.

Two of the Lady Warhawks goals came on corner kicks. Owens scored the first on a cross from Taylor Craig and Taylor Smith scored the second from the left corner.

The Lady Warhawks also scored a couple of goals on corner kicks, one by Owens and the second by Savannah Smith.

Lady Cats coach Chip Ariail said he thought his team hustled and played hard against an outstanding Veterans team.

“We had some chances to score, but some of our shots were just off the mark,” coach Ariail said.  “We had a good overall season and I am proud of the strong efforts of all of our players. We will have a good group of players returning next season.”
