Gregory S. “Greg” Padgett, 48, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. The memorial service will be Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Santa Clara Baptist Church in Quincy, Fla. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
A private family burial will be at a later date.
A lifelong resident of Gadsden County, Greg was of the Baptist faith. His loves were motorcycle riding, hunting and being with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Silva Herrwerth Padgett; a daughter, Joyce Lynn Padgett; his parents, E.R. and Joyce Padgett; brothers, Cliff Padgett and Mike and Dorislynn Padgett; sisters, Kim and Beth Padgett and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the K. Love Program with Faith Radio.
Independent Funeral Home of Quincy is in charge of arrangements.
