Greater St. Mark M.B. Church, located on Georgia State Route 311 in the Hopeful community, will host a “Get Your Blessing” Women’s Conference beginning at 9 a.m. Guest speakers are Evangelist Corene Green, Evangelist Patricia Harrison, the Rev. Tracey Davis and Evangelist Patricia Wilkins.

• The Independent Pallbearers Lodge No. 14 will host its annual program at 11 a.m., at the Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, in Quincy, Fla. The spoken word will be delivered by the Rev. Lonzy Harrison Sr. Please join us in this service and take advantage of the opportunity to become a member of Independent Pallbearers Lodge No. 14.

• Christ Tabernacle of the Living Word, located at 1701 Bethel Road, will be having its annual “Mothers and Missionaries Anniversary and Women’s Day Celebration” at 2:30 p.m. The speaker for the occasion is the Rev. Tamorris Baulkman. Dinner will be served following the program.

• Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church will be having its homecoming celebration, with lunch immediately following the morning service. There will be a singing at 1:30 p.m., with the Kingdom Hill Quartet.

Ford Chapel A.M.E. Church, located at 425 W. College St., will have a Familiy and Friends Day service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kenney Evans as guest speaker.

Trinity Baptist Church, located at 1865 Tallahassee Hwy., Bainbridge, will have a patriotic service at 10:45 a.m. honoring those who serve our country in the armed forces and those in uniform locally. A BBQ lunch follows the morning service. An afternoon service begins at 1:30 p.m.

First Assembly of God, located at 606 N. Tennille Ave., Donalsonville, will celebrate their annual homecoming beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Hymn Masters Quartet will be the guest singers and Pastor James Scarborough will bring the homecoming message.

New Abundant Life Church, located at 507 E. Water St., Bainbridge, will conclude Elder Clarence Smiley’s 2nd anniversary celebration at 4 p.m.

Sunday, June 2

• Climax Baptist Church, located at 204 W. Lee St., in Climax, will have its vacation Bible school starting Sunday, June, 2, through Thursday, June 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., for students ages 2 through the 12th grade. There will be a meal each night for the children, and the Rev. Steve Poppell is the pastor.

• Climax Baptist Church, located at 204 W. Lee St., in Climax, will have its homecoming at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school will begin at 9 a.m. The Rev. Stanley Phillips will be the guest speaker, and a covered-dish lunch will follow the service.
