Sunday, April 28
• St. Thomas M.B. Church, located at 198 Edwards Road, Fowlstown, will celebrate the annual Men and Women Day at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles McDonald and Mt. Early M.B. Church, of Albany, Ga., in charge of the services. Dinner will be served.
• Calvary Baptist Church, located at 601 Chason St., will begin a revival that runs through Wednesday, May 1, with Dr. Allen Hatch of Abilene, Texas, as the evangelist. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday services are at 7 p.m. nightly.
• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, located 1810 S. West St., Bainbridge, will observe Pastor Jerome Severson’s 14th anniversary with two services. The 11:30 a.m. service will have Rev. Randall Hines of Kingdom Harvest Fellowship as guest speaker. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. J.L. Kegler of Blakely speaking. Dinner will be served following the second service.
• Mt. Olive M.B. Church, located at 100 Spring Creek Road, will celebrate its 143rd church anniversary at 11 a.m. on the theme. “Building and growing together upon the Foundation.”
• First Baptist Church, located at 401 E. Shotwell St., will host a Bill & Gloria Gaither style Homecoming music celebration. Join a 60 member choir and share an evening of the heart-warming gospel music of Bill & Gloria Gaither. Fifteen songs composed by the Gaithers will be sung by soloists, ensembles and the audience in an hour-long tribute to these Christian composers. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.
