Raleigh Lee and Annie Mae Bouie of Attapulgus, announce the engagement of their daughter, Angelia Vonkay Bouie, of Attapulgus, to Rev. Willie G. Smiley of Bainbridge, son of the late Mr. Leonard and Mrs. Versie Smiley.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Sylvester Russell and Mrs. Katherine Russell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolphus Bouie Sr.

Miss Bouie is a 1986 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is employed at Shaw Industries. The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cummings and the late Mrs. Rebecca Florence Smiley.

Rev. Smiley is a 1980 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a former employee of American Fiber Company. He currently serves as the pastor of St. Thomas Baptist Church in Fowlstown.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m., at Saint Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in Fowlstown. The reception will follow at the welcome center in Attapulgus.
