B.J. Brown, the daughter of Raymond L. Brown Sr. of Bainbridge, is engaged to wed J.J. Palmer, the son of Harvey Jack and Carol Palmer of Chattahoochee, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Lewis and Jean Brown.

She is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is attending Bainbridge State College, majoring in accounting.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Maggie Funderburk and the late Robert Funderburk, and of Ada Robbirds and the late Tunk Robbirds.

He is a 1999 graduate of Sneads High School, and is employed as a custom installation technician for Hi-Tech Systems.

The wedding and reception are planned for April 27, 2013, at 5 p.m., in Chattahoochee. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
