Chili fundraiser to benefit city employee with cancer

City of Bainbridge employees are holding a chili fundraiser to raise money for Patricia Wimberly, a clerk at Bainbridge Public Safety who is being treated for a serious cancer.

The chili lunch will be served on Wednesday, November 14 at the Potter Street Community Center, 601 Potter Street, between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Plates are $5 and include a bowl of chili, cornbread, a dessert and a drink. People may pick up plates to go or eat at the community center.

Chili plate tickets may be purchased in advance at Bainbridge Public Safety Headquarters on Louise Street or at City Hall at 127 E. Water Street.
