Immanuel Baptist Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 West, will have a fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 18, beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a silent auction, fish plates, door prizes, followed by a gospel sing featuring Kevin and Rebecca Kearns and others.

Attapulgus Baptist Church — The church, located behind the Post Office in Attapulgus, will celebrate its 84th annual homecoming services on Sunday, Aug. 19, beginning at 10:45 a.m., with Rev. Pleas Vause as guest speaker for the morning worship and Mr. Keith Medley as worship and song leader. There will be special music and a covered dish luncheon follows the service.

Emanuel M.B. Church — The church, located at 161 Emanuel Church Road, Fowlstown, will celebrate the Linnie Johnson Red Circle Anniversary on Aug. 19, at 11 a.m., with Sister Karen Ware Williams as speaker.

Friendship M.B. Church — The Friendship M.B. Church on Palmer Road will celebrate Pastor Brian Ramey’s anniversary and appreciation on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 11:30 a.m. Rev. DeCarlo Marcus and the Branchville M.B. Church will provide the service. Dinner will be served. Sunday school is at 10:30 a.m.

• Mt. Zuma M.B. Church — The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, will have a Women’s Day Program on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m. featuring Sandra Leggette of Iron City as speaker.

Lake Seminole Baptist Church — The church, located at 2990 Burke Road, Donalsonville, Ga., will host a Revival Aug. 19-22. Sunday morning service is at 11 a.m. and evening services are at 7 p.m. Evangelist is Rev. Stanley Phillips, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Colquitt. Worship leader is Brother Greg Beaty.

Greater Mt. Calvary First Born Church of the Living God, Inc. — The church, located at Southeast Broad St., Climax, will have a Musical Extravaganza on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m., with choirs, praise teams, praise dancers and soloists.

Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located at 1810 S. West St., will observe the annual Men and Women Day, on Aug. 26, at 11:15 a.m.

• Bethel A.M.E. Church — The church, located at 702 Griffin Ave., Attapulgus, will observe its 147th anniversary on Aug. 26, at 3 p.m., with Pastor Gloria Walden as speaker.

E.D.E.N. International Ministries, Inc. — The church, located at 2550 Old Whigham Road, will hold a Birthing Experience Summit 2012, “Positioned and Ready to Deliver” on Sept. 6-9. Evening services are at 7:30 on the Sept. 6 and Sept. 7. Sept. 8 is Youth Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., evening at 6 p.m.; Sept. 9 is at 10 a.m. Speakers vary.
