Perry Miller, age 70, of Quincy, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born in Donalsonville Georgia on September 18,1954 to James Miller and Jeanette Earnest Miller.
A visitation will be held at Antioch Wetumpka, Quincy Florida on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11 AM with a service beginning at 12 PM. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.
Perry is survived by the love of his life, his wife of twenty-six years, Cherryl Miller; his mother, Jeanette Miller; brother, Jimmy (Latrelle); sister, Janice (Mike); stepdaughter, Tonya Avant; stepson, Clint Avant (Tory); five grandchildren – Ashton, Christian, Kaitlyn, Rhys and Wyatt; many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many other special friends.
Perry was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Miller; and his father, James Miller.
Growing up, Perry loved to eat hamburgers so much he was given the nickname “ Wimpy” from the Popeye the Sailor Man cartoon. Perry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, mowing the grass, fishing with Cherryl and catching the most fish. He will be greatly missed by his constant furry companion, Toby.
