Robert Earl Clinton was born October 23, 1965, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Charlie Earl, Sr. & Brenda Bellflower Clinton. He was a graduate of Whigham High School, Class of 1983, and soon after went to work as a residential painter. Robert Earl married Deborah Talliaferro in 2007. He was a Christian by faith.
Loyal to a fault, Robert Earl was that friend that stood by you no matter what. He was a bit hard-headed and loved it that way. He seemed to take pleasure in his “do it my way” antics.
His customers quickly became more than just customers. He treated them like family and considered them to be so. If they called, he came even especially when it had nothing to do with painting. Robert Earl loved to hang out, go fishing, roam around Spring Creek, watch the Georga Bulldogs, and talk junk about all of the above.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Deborah Clinton; his mother, Brenda Clinton; his brothers, Mike Clinton (Kelly), Johnny Clinton (Jothi), and Earl Clinton (Becky); as well as a host of extended family. Robert Earl was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Earl Clinton, Sr.
