Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure. Anastasia: The Musical is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be. This 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is specially tailored for young actors. From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.

We’re very excited to present to contemporary show. We hope that people who love the anesthesia movie can find something to enjoy in the show. It’s such a amazing historical story in itself so seeing it on a stage, just makes it even more exciting we’re very proud of the costumes and the sets that we have for the show there’s over 20 changes and about 30 songs so we’re very pleased with everybody’s hard work the kids really have put a lot of energy time and talent into the show as well as all of our adult volunteers. It was very much a collaborative effort and you can tell because it looks phenomenal and sounds incredible.

I was directed by Krystal Apke musical direction by Christina Baker, who was most recently Mary Poppins in our last production at BLT.
