The Bainbridge High School Marching Band has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2024 National Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C.   This will not be their first appearance in this parade, but it will be the first since 1988.  The parade will be part of a six-day trip for the Pride of Decatur County which will include visits to Arlington Cemetery, The Smithsonian Museum, Tours of the Monuments and Memorials, visits to the White House and Capitol Building, Historic Union Station, Dinner Cruise on the Potomac, Busch Gardens Williamsburg as well as opportunities to visit many more historical sites in Washington D.C. This trip will be the next appearance for the BHS Band on a national stage.  Past trips include multiple appearances in Washington D.C, New York, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Orlando, New Orleans, West Virginia, and Chicago. The band students will participate in several fundraisers over the next year to help fund this trip.  This is an amazing opportunity for our band students; please help them in any way you can.
