Virginia Viola (Sissy) Ritter Griffin, age 65, passed away Sunday, February 19, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia surrounded by family. Services for Sissy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Dr. Gerald Trotman will officiate. The family will have a private burial at Calvary Assembly of God. Friends will be received one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00.

Sissy Griffin is survived by her siblings, Judy Phillips, Barbara Barrineau-Nalls (Jerry), Ronald Ritter, Sr. (Cathy), Charles Ritter, Jr. (Rhonda), Elizabeth Ritter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Calvin Ritter, Sr. and Trudie Barber Ritter, and companion of 29 years, Bob Howard.
