Gordon B. Albert Faircloth was born August 23, 1945, in Bainbridge, Georgia to Joseph Raymond Faircloth and Emma Jean Williams Faircloth, who preceded him in death. Gordon was a truck driver and loved the job.   The miles he spent driving a truck cannot be counted. He married the love of his life, Glenda Ann Chesser Faircloth.  He and Glenda owned G&G Trucking Company.  They worked hard and shared their lives together for nearly 55 years.  His Glenda passed away in 2018.  Gordon deeply loved his family, especially all those grandchildren.  He was a kind, nurturing father.  He was generous and caring to all.  He loved the mountain vacations they took annually and going fishing and hunting. He loved to go camping.  Sitting around a campfire with family near was heaven to him.  He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.  Gordon was a member of Salem Baptist Church.  A wonderful friend, loving husband, doting father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Gordon will be deeply missed.

Gordon Faircloth is survived by his children, Albert Glenn Faircloth (Ronda) of Whigham, Georgia, Sherri Denice Taylor (Michael) of Whigham, Raymond Leslie Faircloth (Michelle) of Dixie, Georgia, and Mary Horton (Tim McGinty) of Climax; sister, Joyce Kirkland of Ocala, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren with Addison Kate on the way; brother-in-law, Johnny Chesser of Climax; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
