Mr. Pete Giannars, Jr., age 70, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, surrounded by his family.   No services will be held at this time.

Pete Giannars, Jr. was born July 19, 1952, in Bainbridge, Georgia.  Pete married the love of his life, Jeannie Darlene Lewis Giannars.  He and Jeannie shared their lives together for 52 years.  Pete was an avid fisherman, especially catfish.  He worked at Lynch Machinery for many years until their closing.  He very much enjoyed working at the seafood counter in Winn Dixie.  Pete never met a stranger.  He loved to talk to his customers.  Jeannie was a traveling nurse and Pete joined her as she worked away from home.  They enjoyed being together.  He loved when the grandchildren came to visit.   Pete enjoyed taking care of his wife and spending time with his family.  He was a member of Highway Freewill Baptist Church.  Friendly and caring, Pete Giannars, Jr. will be deeply missed by his many friends and the family he loved so very much.

Mr. Giannars is survived by his wife, Jeannie Lewis Giannars; son, Jason Giannars; sister, Peggy Kelly; grandchildren, Will Giannars (Carlye), Cecily Amerson (Dayton), Emily Gowan (Logan), Parker Hobbs, Katie Eakin, Morgan Giannars, Callie Sue Giannars and Memphis Giannars; and great-grandchildren, Shanley Burkett, Emery Kate Giannars, Landon Giannars, Ellarain Mathis, Kori Sage Mathis, and Banks Dixson.  He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Giannars, Sr. and son, Pete Giannars, III.
