Donald Wade Brock, Jr. was born July 27, 1954, in Eagle Pass, Texas, the son of Donald Sr. and Evelyn Bowles Brock. He was a graduate of Niceville High School, Class of 1972. Donnie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and eventually traveled the world working on satellite communication equipment. He married Linda Lobato and they made their home in California. He was a Christian by faith.

Donnie returned to “the homeplace” about twenty years ago to live the quiet life he so enjoyed. He spent his days reading and discovering new things about technological advances. Space technology always intrigued him. He would sometimes drive to Cape Canaveral simply to watch a launch dreaming of the adventures soon to commence. Donnie stayed in the game by working with several ag pilots in our community forever in awe of the sky and beyond.

Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Brock of California; his children, Trinity Nicole Brock and Chelsea Leigh Brock also of California; his grandson, Maddox; his parents; his siblings, Karen Brock Miller (Eddie, Jr.) of Iron City, Ga., Steve Brock (Sherry) of Vada, Cindy Brock Bailey (Cliff) of Bainbridge, Ga., and Julie Brock Shiver (Skip) of Apalachicola, Fla.; and a host of extended family.
