Betty Parker Ray, 90, passed away on May 15, 2022. Betty lived with her daughter, Leigh Ann Benito, in San Diego, Calif., where she passed away peacefully at home.

Betty was born on December 8, 1931, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Eckie Parker and Susie Catledge Parker. She grew up in Bainbridge and graduated from Bainbridge High School with the Class of 1948.

Betty was known for her charm, curiosity, and interest in other people. She loved spending time with family, reading, working crossword puzzles, cooking, golf, bowling, gardening and RV adventures.
