The Rotary Club met for their regularly scheduled meeting at the Kirbo Center on Tuesday. Rather than have a usual presentation, attendees were treated to musical performances by the Bainbridge High School jazz band and the new clarinet ensemble. Band director James Sewell gave a few brief words on the jazz band’s future, saying, “Traditionally our jazz program has been a spring ensemble, but we’re working on expanding that into the winter, and eventually getting it into the fall also, to be ready to go play places.”

The students performed renditions of songs like “What a Wonderful World” and “Eye of the Tiger”, concluding the meeting with a performance of the national anthem.
