Though he was a man of few words, when Jimmie spoke, it was like E.F. Hutton, everybody listened. He enjoyed fishing, Alabama football, and traveling. Jimmie’s favorite destination was Biloxi and “winning it BIG” always made the trip sweeter. Nothing on this earth compared to the love he had for his children and his grandson, Everett, who brought him immense joy.

Survivors include his children, Christina & Justin Logue and Christopher & Laura Bowen, all of Bainbridge; his grandson, Everett William Logue; his siblings, Cathy Self (Jimmy) of Salem, Ala., and Robbie McDuffie (Eddie) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and his in-laws, Ennis & Evelyn Brock. In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Emma Jean “Jeanie” Brock Bowen.

Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, assisted the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
