Carlottie Loyd Hand, age 90, passed away early Thursday morning, December 2, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia.  Services for Mrs. Hand were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.  The Rev. Joe Tatum officiated.  Wayne Hand, Brad Clemons, Hunter Tindell, Al Miserak, Gary Loyd, and Rev. Scott Messer served as pallbearers.  The funeral service concluded at the chapel and the family then greeted friends.  Mrs. Hand was interred in Brinson Cemetery.

Carlottie Loyd Hand was born September 18, 1931, in Seminole County, Georgia.  Her parents, Earnest Loyd and Corsetta Grant Loyd have preceded her in death.  Carlottie married Travis Hand, Sr., who has passed away.  She was a generous, loving person.  A giver of her time and energy.  Always ready to help.  Mrs. Hand loved the Lord and Gospel music.  She even wrote Gospel songs.  Carlottie loved Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and Andy Griffith.  She was a wonderful cook and would keep you full of sweet, iced tea.  She deeply loved her family, especially those grandchildren.  Carlottie Hand will be sorely missed by her dear family and many friends.

Carlottie Loyd Hand is survived by her children, Jimmy Hand and Larry Hand (Thelma) of Bainbridge, and Betty H. Clemons Smith of Lakeland, Florida; her brother, Buddy Loyd of Albany, Georgia; grandchildren, Wayne Hand (Stephanie) of Bainbridge, Jerry Hand of Foley, Alabama, Melissa Trotman of Bainbridge, and Brad Clemons of Bainbridge; great-grandchildren, William Hand, Katie Thomas, Cody Clemons, Casey Clemons, Austin Clemons, Kayla Hand, Tylan Trotman, and Brantley Clemons; great-great-grandchild, Kyle Willeby.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchildren, Travis Eugene Hand, Skyer Clemons, and Tyler Clemons.
