Jeff Simpson, 53, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Monday, November 29, 2021.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Hall, Rev. Andy Hall, and Rev. Neil Hosey officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Darin Singleton, Ken Worsham, Jimmy Mitchell, Tad Kelley, Curt Sadler, and Rick Boutwell serving as active pallbearers. The staff of ERA Simpson Realty will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to Delwood Baptist Church, 480 Delwood Church Road, Camilla, GA 31730.

Oscar Jeffery Ralph Simpson was born December 20, 1967, in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Roy & Pamela Singleton Simpson. He attended Bainbridge High School, Class of 1986. Jeff was the Office Manager at ERA Simpson Realty and a member of Delwood Baptist Church.

Jeff was the original 411. He was the go-to guy for information and didn’t mind calling around for the details. He never met a stranger and seemed to have something in common with everyone. Jeff loved BIG and told you at every opportunity. He helped anyone who asked and offered nary a complaint about the job. He was a master at driving in reverse (could even back a trailer like a professional) but forward gave him a little trouble. Jeff had a mind like a steel trap and a heart of gold.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela Simpson; his brother, Ryan Simpson and his wife, Lisa, of Cordele; his grandmother, Juanita Singleton; and his niece & nephew, Blake Simpson & Ansley Simpson; and a host of extended family. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, William Roy Simpson; his grandparents, Ralph & Hilda Mae Simpson and Oscar Singleton; and his great-grandmother, Ruth Elders.
