Pamela June Rich was born June 1, 1964, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Devid & Inez Dawson Rich. She married Don Hargrove in 1983 and lived all over the world as a military wife. Don & Pamela returned to Southwest Georgia in 1993. She worked in retail sales, retiring from Dollar General. Pamela was Baptist by faith.

Pamela’s parents laid a solid foundation beginning with family. She lived a life that reflected her belief in the strength of those bonds. Black & white cows and hummingbirds always caught her eye, and she collected a few knick-knacks over the years. On Sunday afternoons Pamela was front and center for NASCAR events. She even took a spin around the track during a NASCAR Experience.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Don Hargrove; her children, David & Beth Hargrove of Colorado and Krystle Nichole & David Barrett of Whigham, Ga.; her grandchildren, Alana, Caleb, Jasper, Harley, and Nova; her father, Devid Rich; her siblings, Angie Regan of Donalsonville and Wanda Cook and her husband, Charlie, of Bainbridge; and a host of extended family. Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Dawson Rich.
